Policy of Operation:
The center is open Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 6:00 p.m. 51 weeks of the year except for holidays.
New Years Eve Day & New Years Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Closed week of July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve Day; Christmas Day; In-Service Day (usually before public school starts - please check this date as it is different each year. Center will be closed on the Friday before a Saturday holiday and Monday after a Sunday Holiday. These holidays have been taken into consideration in your weekly fee and tuition will not be refunded for these days.
Little Noises does not discriminate based on sex, race, color, handicap, or religion. Enrollment is made through the Director and includes a registration fee, security deposit and 1st week/month of tuition. Children entering the center must have a current physical form that includes immunization dates and proof of immunity to chickenpox per state statute. Children entering daycare/preschool are required by state statute to have the Flu vaccine.
Tuition is due every Friday, one week in advance of service; monthly preschool tuition is due the last day of the month prior to upcoming month. If a holiday falls on a Friday and the center is closed, tuition is due on Thursday. Daycare tuition is based on an 11.5 hour day. Payment is expected for days off and vacation. One free week after you have been enrolled at the center for one year. That free week is applied to the 4th of July week. Preschool only tuition is based on a 2.5 hour day. Preschool follows the East Haddam Elementary school schedule.
Late pickup/Overtime fees:
The center closes at 6pm, parents must call if they will be late. An overtime fee will be charged per child.
Return Check fee:
A fee will be charged for returned checks, if two (2) tuition checks are returned, the center will only accept cash for payments.
Sick child policy:
For the well being of all children and our staff, children should be kept home if they have the following symptoms - fever of 100; constant coughing; green nasal discharge, vomiting, diarrhea. If we feel your child is ill you will be notified immediately, advised of the symptoms. The child must be picked up within one hour of notification.
Notification of withdrawal:
A two-week written notice must be made prior to any withdrawal. The security deposit will be used as tuition for your child's last week if the director has received written verification two weeks prior to leaving and your account has no remaining balance due.
